I received a voicemail from this moron saying he was "Officer" Shawn Phillips. Stated my SSN, address, etc. and that he was calling from some Federal financial institution and that someone would show up at my job and/or home address. I called back to inform him that I am a debt collector and that what he was saying is illegal. I researched the number and found this to be happening to people other than myself. Ultimately, after informing him that I knew this was a scam and that I am going to the FTC, he hung up.

An attempt to collect a debt from a person I do not know. Despite repeatedly telling this comapny that the number is wrong, they persist in calling. Thank God for caller ID

Computer voice said that I won 2.000 Airmiles and to press #1, I did press 1 and then heard 'hold Music' and then they hung up.

Tried to sell me prescription drugs from overseas. Mentioned vicodin , viagra,etc could be discreetly shipped. Sounds like an illegal scam at the least.

My guess is someone is using a geriatric collection agency

called for second time - did not leave a message, did not answer when I picked-up. Suspect that since I have been on the Do Not Call List since it's inception that the call is being blocked. However, not blocked from calling, interrupting whatever task, demanding attention and being annoying.
